Elsie's unique invitations were printed in bell press, a method similar to matte foil. The invitation was set within an envelope that opened from the back to reveal the card. The inside of the envelope was printed with a repeating pattern of Elsie's name and Mitzvah date.
A fun touch that her mother came up with was including Elsie's name in the Reply card responses:
-"Of course, where Elsie would I be?!"
-"Sorry I can't make it, I have something Elsie to do"
